Foreign Graduates must also get 1500 hours as well. Pharmacist seeking drug therapy modification? - ANS-Must complete course of study on drug therapy modification.
  • 3 contact hours or 0.3 CEU related to drug therapy modification submitted in the 12 months prior.
  • Certificate for drug therapy modification must be submitted to the board by Dec. 31st of the each year. If submitted after that it will be considered expired.
  • Live program must be at least one hour in length.
  • Must also be under a supervising physician of which contracts cannot last longer than two years.
  • All records of therapy changes shall be maintained for a period of ten years. Reasons for probation: - ANS-Unprofessional Conduct
  • Inability to practice reasonable skill and safety (Due to both and mental and physical incapacity.)

Required Exams (Foreign) - ANS-Test of Spoken English, TOEFL (test of English as a foreign language), and FPGEE Required Exams (Reciprocity) - ANSGA Practical and MPJE; Applicants licensed in California before 2004 must sit for complete exam list (NAPLEX, MPJE, Practical Exam) Required Exams (Resident) - ANSNAPLEX, MPJE, Practical Exam Specialty Pharmacy CE hour requirements - ANS-Must obtain 10 hours related to the specialty. Each renewal period.
  • Must first pass an exam approved by the board relating to the specialty area in order to get the certificate then it is the ten hours biannually. The Georgia State Board of Pharmacy ("Board") has the authority to approve accreditation or certification programs for specialty pharmacy practice, included, but not limited to: - ANS-Anticoagulation
