  1. With its visual aspects, it has an average weighted mean of 4.84, which means that the physical appearance of the device helps the learner understand more the concept presented; easy to set up; has an original design.
  2. The mechanics of this device revealed that have clear and easy to understand mechanics and gave a clear goal to the users for it has a weighted mean that ranges from 4.33 – 5. and interpreted as very adequate. The experts agreed that if the device will be given to students they can guide them for they can explain to them how the device will be used and further supported by its average weighted mean of 4.67.
  3. In terms of its durability, it has an average weighted mean of 4.78. It simply implies that the device is durable; cannot be easily destroyed; and made from durable materials like the wood panel and nails. Conclusion Based on the findings revealed, the following were the conclusions obtained:
  4. The developed device; LBM is a teaching device that became useful in solving problems that involves the real-life application of the topic binomial.
  5. The developed device was proven to be an effective tool in improving the conceptual understanding of the students about the said topic.
  6. The device was assessed to have good qualities especially in terms of content relevance, visual effect, usability and durability that totally motivated the learners to learn the lesson.

PRACTICE TASK 2

Conclusions: Based on the findings revealed, the following were the conclusions obtained:

  1. The researchers concluded that the majority of men in Pamplona, Camarines Sur, commit suicide because they usually don't share their problems or find it difficult to open them up.

LEARNING CHALLENGE

Task 1

  1. Line Binomial Multiplier
  2. Findings: a) The calculated weighted mean in terms of its content is all 5.0 and has an average weighted mean of 5.00 This simply means that the game possesses the following; applies the concept of Learning by Doing of Piaget; the game correctly uses the process for doing math concepts and requires the students to use the process; it also teaches or reviews a topic in an enjoyable way. The developed device is an effective tool in improving the conceptual understanding of the students about the said topic. b) With its visual aspects, it has an average weighted mean of 4.84, which means that the physical appearance of the device helps the learner understand more the concept presented; easy to set up; has an original design. c) The mechanics of this device revealed that have clear and easy to understand mechanics and gave a clear goal to the users for it has a weighted mean that ranges from 4.33 – 5. and interpreted as very adequate. The experts agreed that if the device will be given to students, they can guide them for they can explain to them how the device will be used and further supported by its average weighted mean of 4.67. d) In terms of its durability, it has an average weighted mean of 4.78. It simply implies that the device is durable; cannot be easily destroyed; and made from durable materials like the wood panel and nails.
  3. Conclusion: Based on the findings revealed, the following were the conclusions obtained: a) The developed device; LBM is a teaching device that became useful in solving problems that involves the real-life application of the topic binomial. b) The developed device was proven to be an effective tool in improving the conceptual understanding of the students about the said topic.

Teacher: Mr. Richard Riobaldez Date: 06/03/ c) The device was assessed to have good qualities especially in terms of content relevance, visual effect, usability and durability that totally motivated the learners to learn the lesson. Task 2 RECOMMENDATIONS For the improvement of the device, here are some suggestions and comments given by the teachers and students who used this device as learning and teaching in Mathematics: a) Future researchers can further improve this device and make it possible to include all kinds of multiplications b) It can be integrated in any field of mathematics that has the concept of binomials. c) This device can be innovated, miniaturized to be more convenient for teachers and students, and be used to facilitate learning about binomials. Title: Effect of stress on academic performance of students in different streams Findings

  1. High levels of stress can cause major effects academic performance and mental health of the students. Academic stress can be conceptual as a student’s interactions between environmental stressors, the student’s cognitive appraisal of and coping with the academic- related stressor and physiological or psychological response to the stressor. Learning and memory can also be affected by stress though an optimal level of stress can enhance learning ability, too much stress can cause physical and mental health problems, reduces self-esteem and may affect the academic achievements of students
  2. According the survey conducted, the majority of the students were science streamed students. Around 50% of the students were stressed due to study-related issues whereas

Teacher: Mr. Richard Riobaldez Date: 06/03/ Conclusions: a) Stress is the body’s reaction to a challenge. Although stress is often perceived as bad, it can actually be good in some respects. The right kind of stress can sharpen the mind and reflexes. b) Stress is the body’s natural response to challenges. When a student experiences high levels of stress or chronic stress, regardless of her age or grade, it can interfere with her ability to learn, memorize, and earn good grades as well as lead to poor physical, emotional, and mental health. By learning about common stressors, a parent can help to mitigate negative or chronic stress in a child’s life. c) Excessive stress could lead to psychological problems such as depression and anxiety. This this research could help us in finding the main reason and helping the students in finding a solution to their problems and help them enjoy their schooling stress-free and tension-free.
