Reflection Paper on Arts and Humanities Past, Present and Future” Arts and humanities studies the historical background of creative works and educates you well how to critically assess source materials, connect widely differing ideas, and evaluate facts and information. Humanities broaden our understanding of human culture by assisting us in determining what links us together and what distinguishes us from one another. It teaches us about human nature, beings, relationships, and other people. Before, art was more of surrealism, impressionism and other art movements, art at that time was also simpler as the mediums were manual such as using

plants pigment for colors, and woods and stones as canvases. Art in the present is more of self-expression, aesthetics and used mostly for careers such as architects, musicians, animators and many more. Moreover, art today can be created and viewed with the help of digital literacy. It's difficult to predict where art will go in the future but as far as I can tell, art in the future will be vivacious and it will be the vital tool for raising awareness, taking the role of spokesperson for humanity in the medium of a more well developed technology. All things considered, the film signified how research, particularly in the course “Arts and Humanities” , contributed to our modern understanding of the world we live in, and how it has and will continue to have a meaningful impact on our daily lives.
