1. In your own words, what is the significance of Physical Education to an individual’s life?

PE teaches you a lot about the body/health. You can use this
knowledge to improve your understanding of health and well-being/
self esteem, physically improve performance or you can simply
learn to develop a sense of enjoyment through movement. Knowing
how to keep your body in good kick, especially as you get older, is
important to a functional and happy life
2. How would you know that the significance of Physical Education is achieved or not?

Physical education tries to teach physical fitness for the rest of your
life. An overweight child usually becomes an overweight adults in
life, unless we teach this child / student what physical education is
all about. We start off with Rhythm and exercising then we move on
to team sports and lifelong activities. Physical education is about
taking care of your body, this includes good eating habits and of
course exercise. There are a lot of sports that you played when you
were younger but you can't play when you're older. So we teach
activities for all years of your life.
3. As a student, how would you promote physical education to your family, friends and in
your respective community? (5 pts.)
As a student, try to educate them about the benefits of engaging in
physical education. That living a healthy lifestyle is important to
one’s well being. Taking control of one’s health and practicing good
healthy habits will help determine a healthy future. A healthy diet
and regular exercise are important in maintaining a healthy
lifestyle.The risk of contracting common medical conditions such as
heart disease and some cancers can be prevented by living a
healthy lifestyle. It is also proven that maintaining healthy habits
helps slow down the process of aging.
