Creative Biolabs Released DNA Immunization Service Intended for Antibody
Production
It is reported that Creative Biolabs is customizing polyclonal and monoclonal
antibodies with DNA immunization method.
Creative Biolabs, with years of experience in the field of antibody development and
research, has successfully established and applied its special DNA immunization
service system for hundreds of antibody discovery projects.
As an advanced strategy, DNA immunization enables the immunized hosts to produce
interested antigens in vivo with common post-transcriptional modifications and then
induce a powerful immune response.
Compared to traditional immunization methods, DNA immunization permits in vivo
antigen production, omitting the time-consuming processes of immunogens synthesis
and purification, such as peptides and recombinant proteins. In addition, these in vivo
expressed proteins can maximally maintain the naïve structures and go through
appropriate post-transcriptional modifications. These properties can contribute to the
generation of high-affinity antibodies against the natural conformation of the target
antigen, which is a crucial feature for developing therapeutic antibodies. What’s more,
this approach is an ideal solution to develop antibodies against membrane proteins or
other challenging or problematic antigens, and is also a novel tool in the early phases
of DNA vaccine development.
Creative Biolabs developed a series of DNA immunization strategies for specific
project objectives, including Magic DNA Immunization Strategy, Gene Gun DNA
Immunization Strategy, In Vivo Electroporation DNA Immunization Strategy, Naked
DNA Immunization Strategy and Heterologous Immunization Strategy.
It has also developed MagicTM DNA immunization service system to transfect the
immune plasmid into cell line for the immune response validation and further
screening. “Based on this system, we can provide a series of specific MagicTM
transfection reagents as individual products for our clients”, said Dr. Monika Müller,
chief scientific officer of Creative Biolabs, “Magic TM reagents can achieve high
efficiency in vitro transfection of either DNA, mRNA or siRNA for a broad range of
cell types of cell lines to assist scientists’ research and project development.”
