A. Process in Agriculture
1. Land Cultivation The goal of land cultivation is to use certain instruments to alter the state of agricultural land in order to achieve the desired plant arrangement. Generally speaking, tillage is done to get the ground ready for farming. Every effort to cultivate the ground results in changes to the soil's characteristics, turning the initially firm layer into something flat and muddy. In this manner, the soil will be better aerated, weeds will perish and decompose into humus, and the subsoil will get saturated with water, allowing for water conservation. Land management is undoubtedly necessary for all agricultural activities. 2. Preparation of Cultivation Preparation of cultivation can be done by preparing seeds or seedlings to be planted. In preparing the seeds, we must also pay attention to the quality of the seeds. Seeds are the main factor in farming. The better the seeds, the greater the chance to get the best quality plants. Before that, we must first learn how to do proper seeding. Seeding is the process of preparing new plant seeds before planting them in the planting area. This seeding is critical, especially for delicate plant seeds that cannot withstand external factors that can inhibit the process of seed growth in plant seeds. 3. Harvesting Harvesting is the activity of collecting agricultural products from cultivated land. This term is most commonly used in farming activities and marks the end of activities on the land. Harvesting is the final job of cultivating crops (cultivating crops), but it is the beginning of post-harvest work, namely making preparations for storage and marketing.
4. Marketing Marketing of agricultural products can include the movement of goods or agricultural products from producers to final consumers, both inputs and agricultural products themselves. The purpose of marketing is to seek profit by meeting the needs and desires of consumers so that they can satisfy the consumers themselves. Consumer satisfaction will be achieved if the product is of high quality and meets consumer needs, the price can be affordable by the target consumer, the service to the consumer is satisfactory and the product image is good from the consumer's point of view. B. Artificial Intelligence for Agriculture Artificial intelligence, or AI as it is more commonly known, is the ability of a machine to learn from experience by adapting to new inputs and to carry out jobs that would often be performed by humans. In other terms, artificial intelligence (AI) is the ability of a computer system to perform tasks that often require human labor or intelligence. The agricultural industry is just one of the many areas that AI has a significant impact on (agriculture). AI for Agriculture has the ability to alter how we "see" agriculture by assisting farmers in their work and allowing them to accomplish more with less effort while also providing a number of additional advantages. The steps in the agricultural process are: processing the land; establishing a nursery; planting; harvesting; and selling the harvest. C. Agroindustry Agroindustry comes from the words "agricultural" and "industry," which means an industry that produces a product using agricultural products as its main raw material. Agroindustry is part of agribusiness. Agroindustry is an integrated system involving agricultural resources, human resources, science and technology, money, and information. Agroindustry products can be in the form of finished products that are ready for consumption or as raw material products for other industries.
