It considers itself a social business, is CO 2 -negativeand claims to support full financial transparency and protect the privacy of its users. Ecosia is also B Lab-certified. Ask.com - is a search engine that was started in 1996. This website helps people find web pages that they are looking for, by typing in the subject they want. For example, if someone is looking for web pages about dogs, they would type in "dogs" or "dog" then press the 'search' button. AOL.com - was one of the early pioneers of the Internet in the mid-1990s, and the most recognized brand on the web in the United States. It originally provided a dial- up service to millions of Americans, as well as providing a web portal, e-mail, instant messaging and later a web browser following its purchase of Netscape. Internet Archive - is an American digital library with the stated mission of "universal access to all knowledge". It provides free public access to collections of digitized materials, including websites, software applications/games, music, movies/videos, moving images, and millions of books.

The company also provides mobile voice-related, IP, and packet communications services, as well as system integration and network system services. Additionally, Nippon operates businesses in real estate, finance, and more. Deutsche Telekom- is a Germany-based provider of telecommunications and information technology services. It also offers financial and payment services. KDDI serves individual customers and businesses. Orange- is a France-based multinational telecommunications company. As one of Europe's largest operators, Orange serves residential, professional, and large business clients. The company provides services including fixed-line telephone, leased lines, data transmission, mobile telecommunications, cable television, internet services, and broadcasting. It also offers mobile financial services.

10 Payment Systems

Authorize.Net- is the Internet’s most widely used payment gateway. With a user base of over 300,000 merchants, Authorize.Net has been the go-to method for e- commerce sites that need a gateway to accepting payments. Widely used e-commerce platforms such as Magento, Volusion and X-Cart are designed to accept payments using Authorize.Net easier.

PayPal- is the world’s most widely used payment acquirer, processing over $4 billion in payments in 2011. PayPal payments are made using a user’s existing account or with a credit card. Money can be sent directly to an email address, thus prompting the users to sign up for a new PayPal account. In addition to taking payments, PayPal also allows its users to send money through the service, which is a feature that only a few payment solutions provide. Google Checkout - is Google’s answer to PayPal. Google Checkout allows users to pay for goods and services through an account connected to their Google profile. The major benefit that Google Checkout has over the competition is that millions of Internet users use Google for other services, making a purchase through Checkout a simpler process. Amazon Payments - allows its users to receive money using its API (and to send money out via ACH). Popular crowdfunding site Kickstarter uses Amazon Payments. Dwolla- is a direct competitor to PayPal. One of the newcomers in the third-party payments space, the company is processing over $1 million per day. Setting up Dwolla payments is similar to PayPal, although Dwolla doesn’t have the same name recognition as their competition. Stripe- provides an excellent payment solution for web developers who would like to integrate a payment system into their projects using Stripe’s robust API. By bypassing the traditional sign up process, Stripe acts as a merchant account for its providers, handling all PCI compliance and merchant approvals.

Facebook has millions of active daily users making it a viable online advertising platform for small, medium, and established businesses. Instagram- is a great place for brand-supported or brand posts but they also have official ads. You can either reach out to influencers or celebrities to partner with your business. The price you pay to influencers depends solely on the influencer. Users on Pinterest- are always looking out for new ideas that’s why they can easily click on links. On Pinterest, your ads appear as promoted pins and blend into other images and text combinations. Advertising on Pinterest brings your awareness, traffic, and engagement. This platform has a pay per click framework and adequate analytics to guide your ad campaign.

Linked in- This social network focusses on business professionals and you can advertise your business via sponsored or dynamic ads. LinkedIn ad system caters to business-to- business (B2B) companies and business-to-customer (B2C) businesses. YouTube- users watch about 1 billion hours of videos daily so it’s not a bad idea if you start investing in video ads. Video ads perform differently than text or image ads. YouTube Advertising is managed via Google Ads and lets you display your video ads to a large audience of potential customers based on different possible targeting options. Twitter- has millions of daily users which makes it fit to be an online ad platform. Aside from younger individuals this platform also has professionals, this can be an advantage to B2B companies. Twitter ads are best for building an audience of interested followers and picking up retweets at cost-effective rates. Get the most out of your business on Twitter by utilizing promoted posts for tweets that offer interesting content. Reddit- is among the most popular websites in the USA. Its ad platform is very famous and popular. Targeting option is by choosing relevant subreddits in which to display your content, and it advisable you invest time in creating organic content to build up credibility (karma) in the system before running ads.
